i think ignatius of loyola is important because of what he did. he worked to convert muslims to christianity and began a big study of the christian way of living for many years. he also founded the Jesuits. overall, he was a big studier and communicator of christian ways and styles. it relates to my life in that i have the power and will to study and communicate the things such as ignatius of loyola and to help people that arent christians to become one at any given day.

Ignatius of Loyola had always, despite the challenges throughout his life, succeeded in conquering the obstacles in his path to attain his goal. He founded his own organisation, the Society of Jesus, based on his own beliefs and was unafraid keep his own beliefs even when the consequence was death. This is probably why coach Tinker had us study him. He wasn't afraid to worship God even when others chided him.
He relates to my life in two diferent ways: despite the difficulty, I've never dropped out of a single class or club and despite what society believes, I follow my own path instead of doing what's 'cool' or 'popular.'
